The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has unfolded a vigorous struggle to champion the independent development of the country and the rights and interests of the broad masses of the people and to strengthen the unity and solidarity of the world socialist movement, maintaining the revolutionary principles of the working class, thus achieved a great deal of success in this process.

The 17th congress of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) will mark a significant turning point which will provide a new milestone in further cementing party building and activities.
