In the long process of struggle, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) integrates universal principles of Marxism with national realities, and explores paths of development that accord with its own conditions. The CPI(M) has withstood various tests, domestic and international, and has been growing in strength. As a fairly influential political force in Indian politics and social life, the CPI(M) has played an important role in promoting social progress and development in India, and has exerted positive and effective influence in safeguarding regional and world peace. We appreciate your efforts and achievement.

The peoples of China and India have long-standing friendship. The Communist Party of China and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) also enjoy long-standing and profound friendship. The friendly cooperative ties between our two parties have made positive contributions to safeguarding and enhancing Sino-Indian good-neighbourly friendship and cooperation.

We are confident, on the basis of the principles of independence, complete equality, mutual respect and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs, that friendship and cooperation between our two parties will continue to be consolidated and strengthened, and make fresh contributions to the promotion of friendly ties between the two countries and peoples of China and India.
